Mighty Nonprofits Website Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 1st, 2026

Mighty Nonprofits ("Mighty Nonprofits," "we," "us") provides bookkeeping and accounting services to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, www.mightynonprofits.com, and how we use and protect it.

This policy covers visitors to our website and people who contact us about our services. It does not cover the financial records and other data we handle on behalf of our clients. That information is governed by our written service agreement with each client.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a contact form, book a call, sign up for our emails, or write to us, we collect what you provide. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number, organization name, and details about your organization's needs.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours automatically collects basic technical information. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time spent on the site, and the page that referred you. We collect this through cookies and similar tools (see "Cookies and analytics" below).

We do not ask for or collect payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive personal information through our website.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and schedule conversations.

  • Provide proposals and information about our services.

  • Send newsletters, resources, and updates you've signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

  • Understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it.

  • Keep our website secure and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How we share your information

We share personal information only in these situations:

  • Service providers. We use trusted vendors to run our business, including website hosting (Wix), email and productivity tools (Google Workspace), and OnceHub. These providers process information for us under their own privacy and security commitments.

  • Our team. Mighty Nonprofits works with team members and independent contractors, some of whom are located outside the United States. They may access your information only as needed to respond to you or provide our services.

  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

  • Business transfers. If Mighty Nonprofits is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Because our team and service providers may be located outside the United States, your information may be processed in other countries.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies, which are small files stored on your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help us understand how visitors use the site, for example through Google Analytics, WIX Analytics etc.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no common standard for these signals, our website does not currently respond to them.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and contact information for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our business relationship. If you don't become a client, we generally delete or archive inquiry records within [three] years. We keep email subscriber information until you unsubscribe.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. These include access controls, multi-factor authentication, and secure, reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing emails. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.

Children's privacy

Our website is intended for adults acting on behalf of organizations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the effective date above.
